Having contexts such as these, even if you don’t know you have them, are comparable to being on automatic pilot – the “program” or context is set, and the content follows automatically. When the programming kicks in, at that point you are just along for the ride.

The Chicago Cubs were eliminated last night from the Major League Baseball/National League Division Series Playoff Games via losing their 3rd game in a row to the Los Angeles Dodgers.

No World Series for the Cubbies this year. And that’s how it’s been for 100 years.

In 1908 the Cubs won the World Series. And that was the last time. Long drought.

I’m neither a Dodger fan nor a Cubs fan.

I say the above as an introduction to a brilliant quote from a sportswriter, in reference to the Cubs’ loss last night:

“But the failed history of the Cubs, combined with the expectations for this postseason, overwhelmed them. If they couldn’t deal with the past, how were they going to deal with the present?” – Gene Wojciechowski, ESPN.com (Cubs’ latest failure..)

This quote caught my attention, of course, because my work is Clearing, and Clearing is about being in the PRESENT. Well, not just being in the present but being able to STAY in the PRESENT.

Clearing is about resolving any and all past issues, memories, upsets, problems, et al, by clearing them permanently. When cleared properly, those kinds of negativities are GONE — GONE FOR GOOD.

Once Cleared, anything negative from the past can be remembered but there’s a new sort of neutral feeling about it. The past is no longer an interference.

That’s why I love my work! It helps people to move on and achieve their dreams… to move on and create the life they really want.

So, though not a Cubs’ fan, I do have compassion for their plight. And though not a Dodger fan, hats off to them for staying present… and winning.
